Masai Village, Amboseli, Kenya
July, 2008
While in Amboseli, we visited the a local Masai village located on the concervency. It was interesting in that it was a real productive villiage. Since they keep their cows and goats in the middle of the camp at night, there were A LOT of flies. I am not sure I could deal day in and day out with that. They even let us go into their dung hut (yes, made entirely out of cow poo) which was very dark and surprisingly free of flies.
